Mrs. Silva - Library/Media Technician

Steve and I will be celebrating 43 years of marriage this October and are the proud parents of our daughter, Ally. I've worked in the HUSD for over 17 years which includes the years I spent as a substitute.

When I'm not working I enjoy gardening, scrapbooking, cardmaking, yoga, and baking. We have 2 dogs, Mike, and my granddog, Bruce. We also have a cat, O'Malley, who rules the house. As a family we enjoy acting at various Renaissance Faires and the Dicken's Faire. Our family is a football family and we're split three ways: "Da Bears", SF 49ers, and the LV Raiders. The person who has the worst win/loss record buys dinner for the other two.

Lunchtime in the library takes on a twist in beign quiet. I've brought my love of cardmaking, games, and brainteaser puzzles to the library. Other than reading or doing homework, there's always something fun and different going on.
